More and more devices are betting on the fingerprint reader under the screen. Vivo returns with a new model that stands out for this feature and for a design barely without edges. The Vivo X21s follows the footsteps of its predecessor, the Vivo X21, although this time the company has cut the notch even more and has slightly increased the size of the screen from the 6.28 inches of its predecessor to 6.41 inches in this new model. It is a Super AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
The new phone has 3D glass backside and a slightly rounded edges that makes it really elegant, it measures 157.1 x 75.08 x 7.9 mm and weighs 156 grams. The Vivo X21s has a Snapdragon 660 processor accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable by microSD).
At a photographic level, the Vivo X21s offers a dual main camera of 12 megapixels (aperture f/1.8) and 5 megapixels (aperture f/2.4), with which you can carry out the popular bokeh effect or blur. These cameras are supported by an artificial intelligence system, which will allow you to capture images in higher quality. On the front we find a secondary sensor for selfies of 24 megapixels with the usual beauty mode to perfect the selfie.
As for the other features, the Vivo X21s also has a fairly comprehensive connection system: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. The device is running the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system under the FunTouch 4.5 UI. It also equips a 3400mAh battery with fast charging system. The Vivo X21s has been put on sale in China at a price of around $360. It can be purchased in two different colors: black and pink.
