Samsung Galaxy Note FE may Receive Android 9.0 Pie

While many still haven’t forgotten about Samsung’s Note 7 exploding start before getting recalled, the company appears to have instead focused on its younger and safer sibling, the Samsung Note FE.

According to the latest WiFi certification, the battery shrimped and cooler Note FE (Fan Edition) is indeed going to get the latest Android 9.0 Pie update or at least we can assume so.

The smartphone getting certified doesn’t necessarily mean the phone i getting the OS, but that Samsung could be working on it and may potentially do it.

Samsung Note FE Android 9 Pie

Android 9.0 Pie on the Note FE does not confirm the handset is getting the new One UI either. It might just be an update of the operative system with the older Samsung Experience UI on top.

The news of the Samsung Note FE possibly getting Android 9 while the flagship Galaxy S7 series with a much bigger user base will probably be stuck on Android Oreo also caused an uproar in the community, but in Samsung’s defense, the Note FE was released in July 2017, so between the S8 series and the Note8, both getting the update.
