All is now set for the global official unveiling of the Nokia 8.1 smartphone in Dubai. In October, HMD Global released this smartphone as Nokia X7 in China and now, the official promo video for this smartphone has appeared online.

This promo video is a 30 seconds clip that basically shows some key features of this smartphone. The Nokia 8.1 will come with “Pure Display” which supports HDR10 content. We can also see from the clip that this smartphone will have three colour options – Phoenix Iron Steel, Blue Silver, and Steel Copper.
In the camera department, the Nokia 8.1 will come with a ZEISS branded camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and it will be capable of capturing high-detail images in low light environments. The camera of this smartphone is AI assisted thus we expect to see a couple of AI-assisted features.
There have been a couple of leaks and speculations regarding this smartphone and if the speculations are true, this device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB of RA and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 9 Pie and its lights will be kept on by a 3,500 mAh battery.
