CUBOT seems to be heavily focusing on their new lineup of the sports phones, which should be more or less a sub-category of the rugged devices with extra functions. And today they have announced the lineup will have pretty soon an entry level variant with the CUBOT Quest Lite model. So what can we expect from this device ?
Well entry level it is for sure, but the specs are certainly not bad. The phone will offer 5-inch HD resolution (classican 16:9 1280×720 pixels) IPS display, MT6761 aka Helio A22 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 16MP+2MP dual rear cameras with Sony sensor and 5P lens, 13MP selfie cam with 4P lens, 3000 mAh battery capacity with 5V/2A, USB Type-C port, Android 9 Pie system, IP68 rugged certification and more.
We can pretty much expect very affordable pricing for the CUBOT Quest Lite, but nothing specific has been released about that. All we know is the promise of launching the phone in early 2019, so the wait time shouldn’t be too long.
