Huawei seeds Android Pie update to Huawei P20, P20 Pro and Mate 10

Several Huawei smartphones including the Huawei P20, P20 Pro, and Huawei Mate 10 devices are now reportedly receiving the full and stable dose of Android 9 Pie. The trio of Huawei phones had been on a beta version of the EMUI 9 software based on Android 9.0  for a while now, and are now receiving the final and stable Android 9.0 Pie update.

The update to Android 9.0 for these devices are reportedly now rolling out to users in Europe over the air, but It is worth noting that the update could take a while before it hits your device, so we advise you exercise a bit of patience. If after some days you are not prompted with the update, we advise you check manually via your device’s status.

While the official changelog isn’t available, you can expect to see improved UI design, added gesture-based navigation system, all the goodies associated with Android 9.0 Pie and of course some features of the EMUI 9.0 already available to users of the Mate 20-series.
