Samsung will introduce tips to improve battery autonomy with Android 9 Pie

The device maintenance function on Samsung Galaxy smartphones allows users to manage RAM, memory, battery life and security.

It seems that among the new features introduced by Samsung on the One UI based on Android 9 there is also some suggestions and tips that are displayed from time to time to improve the autonomy of the battery.

These are tips that most users will probably know for a long time, such as that the battery life can be reduced by leaving the phone in very hot or cold environments.

At the moment these suggestions are limited to the battery but later could also include the management of RAM and storage memory or security.

Recall that in the past few hours in Germany was launched the Android 9 Pie stable release update for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.

The roll out was started for the models marketed in Germany but it should not take a long time to arrive to those sold in other markets. Apparently the Korean producer has decided to anticipate the release of this awaited update scheduled for the month of January. The update weighs over 1.7 GB and brings the software to the G960FXXU2CRLI version for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and G965FXXU2CRLI for its big brother.
