Today, we are looking at the amount that you are willing to pay for a foldable smartphone. A few weeks ago, we did a poll on the possible smartphone trends for 2019. It was a very close call but foldable smartphones emerged as one of the innovations that might trend this year. However, there are two major questions that have faced the development of foldable phones since its inception

Gizchina News of the week

  1. Do we really need a foldable smartphone?
  2. How much will foldable phones cost?

Many netizens do not see the need for them to fold their smartphone display. There is also no real need to have a tablet that folds into a smartphone. Nevertheless, the smartphone industry is highly dynamic and the competition is forcing OEM’s to release all sorts of innovations.

There’s one thing that we know for sure, foldable phones will be freaking expensive even from Chinese OEMs. A majority of those who will purchase this device will probably do so for “public show” and not for any real performance improvement or comfort. The question now is “How much are you willing to spend on a foldable smartphone?” Cast your vote in the poll below and if there is more you need to add, use the comment

give me $2000 and i’ll reject to use foldable phone, because it is not exciting, for me a phone with night vision camera of thermal camera is far more useful than this foldable hype. Foldable phone feature is DOA.

I’d prefer someone makes a 4.0 inch phone that I can actually hold and handle with a single hand and contains the latest Technology like all those garbage over-expensive flagship phones!

I would pay below 799.99 $ because I want a regular smartphone. I don’t need the super advanced chemistry that can make flexible glass or transparent concrete or other stupid gimmicks.
