A few days ago, the Chinese company Vivo has officially presented the new Vivo X27 and X27 Pro, two mid-ranges smartphones with a nice design and premium features. The launch of the duo was the perfect opportunity to announce the new Funtouch OS 9 UI, based on Android 9 Pie with many new features for fans of the brand.

The Chinese company has shown the main features of the new user interface through a dedicated video ad and has announced as many as 72 new features, 55 optimizations and 263 improvements regarding the same UI.

The new Funtoch OS 9 by Vivo adopts a predominantly “candid” color, so that users concentrate mainly on the contents; a choice in line with current trends, also seen with other proprietary UIs. Then there are also changes for the icons and it is possible to customize everything by changing the themes, the layout of the icons, and so on.

Even if the company has not revealed the timing, surely in the coming months we will see the debut of the new version also aboard other models of the brand.
