The next version of Apple’s iPhone mobile operating system, the iOS 13 will bring a ton of improvements over the previous version, with new features that include a system-wide Dark Mode, undo gestures and special iPad features like Multiple Windowed apps. Today a new report came informing that Apple is also working on mergings it’s Find My Friends and Find my Phone apps into a single application.

The app will integrate both features into a new universal app framework – Marzipan. The company is also planning to integrate an offline tracking mode in iOS 13 via a “Find Network” feature that will be handy when the iPhone isn’t connected through Data or Wi-Fi network. Another feature will notify users when a friend or family member arrives at or leaves a specific location.

The Cupertino based company is also working on a hardware tracking product, that will work in a similar way that an NFC tag does. You can attach it on any item or device, and you’ll be able to track it via the tracking application. It’ll be linked to your iCloud account and you’ll be notified when you wander outside of the tile’s range. The tile will also store specific contact, and other iPhones will be able to read it. The Tag’s location will also be shareable with friends and family.
