Huawei has been hot on making waves in the mobile computing world, despite the unfortunate trade restriction imposed on its by the commerce department. The brand back in April announced the  Honor MagicBook 2019 and is now rumored to be working on its third laptop – the Honor MAGICBOOK Pro.

Reportedly dubbed the Honor Magicbook Pro, the portable computer design is highly reminiscent of Apple’s 15 inch MacBook Pro, with its chiclet keyboard design flanked by loudspeakers on either side. The most notable of the features of the PC as shared by  Evan Blass is that it gets collapsible or pop up camera on the 8th key away from the top bezel.

Interestingly, the power button resides on the right loudspeaker grille cutout, and from the look of it, it should double as the device’s fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

The design choice allows Huawei to fits an even large display on the device, and what is more, it allows for smaller bezels on all four corners. Speaking of the display, the leak says the Honor MagicBook Pro will offer sport 16.1-inch display, and under its hood, it will be powered by the mid-range (8th-Gen) Intel Core i5-8265U processor with Nvidia GeForce MX250 Graphics Card, up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.

One of the most interesting features of this laptop is the Magic-Link connection mode. Once a phone and the notebook are paired, the MagicBook will automatically back up photos (up to 1GB/minute). You can also transfer files between your computer and mobile phone through Huawei Share. We hope the Honor Magic will retain a number of the Magicbook 2019, but it surely will get some nice additions.
