Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e announced with triple cameras and decent pricing


Well that didn’t take long, did it? As promised, Xiaomi unveiled earlier today in Beijing the first two models of the CC series and nothing could surprise us… less. The two devices – dubbed Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e pack AMOLED displays made by Samsung, an impressive set of in-display fingerprint scanners each, along with triple cameras with a main 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.79 aperture.

The other two lenses consist of an 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera from Samsung for better low-light images and AI beautify mode.

The first model packs a 6,39 inch AMOLED display with minimal bezels, a small waterdrop notch at the top, offering a 91% ratio that will surely impress novice users. Inside it comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC, along with Game Turbo 2.0 and up to 6GB of RAM for more than impressive gaming performance.

That’s the “smaller” of the two siblings, packing a 6.088-inch HD+ AMOLED screen, along with – a world’s first- the brand new Snapdragon 655 SoC, based on the 11nm architecture.

Pricing and availability

If you’re interested in the Xiaomi Mi CC9, then you should know that the basic 6GB+64GB variant will cost 1799 yuan (€231.39) and the 6GB+128GB version will go for 1999 yuan (€257.10).

The “smaller” Xiaomi Mi CC9e will be available at:

  • 1299 yuan (€167.56) for the basic 4GB+64GB variant
  • 1399 yuan (€179.97) for the 4GB+128GB variant
  •  1599 yuan (€205.68) for the most powerful 6GB+128GB version.

 

All devices will be available in the Chinese market starting July 9th.

    CC9 is upgraded/downgraded version of Mi 9 SE. WTF xiaomi?????

    Seems quite expensive, especially when the SD845 sporting Poco F1 is now dirt cheap
