The Honor 9X and 9X mid-rangers arrive on July 23 – the same day the ASUS ROG phone 2 is billed to land. We’ve heard a lot about the duo, but the brand only recently threw its weight behind rumors with an official teaser that reveals the design. The device also recently made it to TENAA, and now we have the renders that give us the first real look at both devices.
Notably, the image renders confirms a whole lot of features, First off, it confirms there isn’t any version of the device with a Quad-camera setup. Instead, the company is rooting for a triple-camera and a dual cam setup for the 9X and Realme 9X in that order.
The devices as per the renders will launch in plain black and gradient purple, with an X-shape effect to go along with the “9X” name for the purple Honor 9X Pro variant. It is plausible there are more color options in the making too, that we ca not confirms for now.
Interestingly, both devices have a pop-up selfie camera setup, although not visible in the renders, but it is glaring enough from the lack of a notch, punch hole and ultra-slim bezels. Lastly, the renders confirm the Honor 9X and 9X pro will both feature a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button or under the display option.
At the heart of both device will be the Kirin 810 SoC. The RAM and storage max out at 8GB and 256GB of storage space. Both devices appeared on TENNA earlier this week, you can have a look at the specs here.
