OPPO K5 to arrive with SD730G, 4000mAh battery, and VOOC 4.0

OPPO is all set to launch its next flagship device the -Reno Ace at an event in China on October 10th. The brand earlier this week outed a teaser suggesting that the Reno Ace might be accompanied by a mid-ranger – the OPPO K5. It also confirmed a few of the device’s specs and features including a Quad-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. And now, the firm has again dropped a teaser poster that confirms some more important features of the upcoming device.

While reaffirming the October 10th launch date, the teaser poster obtained from Weibo mentioned two more features on Weibo, namely a Snapdragon 730G SoC and VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge support. The SoC as per the teaser will improve the K5 game graphics rendering capability by 15 percent.

And to ensure you are always on, the teaser further confirms the OPPO K5 features a 4000mAh battery complete with With the VOOC 4.0 technology which should get te charging time down by up to 40%. To be clear, Oppo says you will be able to jack up the battery to  67 percent from 0% in just 30 minutes.

While today’s teaser only confirms the battery size and the SoC, a separate teaser from earlier this week had confirmed the device will come in Green, Blue and White colors with 3D Glass back. The device gets a 64MP camera, while official listing has also confirmed the device will feature an 8 MP sensor and 119-degree FoV, as well as a 32 MP with plenty of AI features.

Reno Ace

Speaking of the OPPO Reno that is set to go official on October 10th, the device is confirmed to come with the octa-core Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, along with up to 12GB of RAM. It will also launch as OPPO’s first smartphone with a 90Hz display refresh rate.
