Oppo and its Realme brand has been on a roll recently in the India market rolling out value quality smartphones at affordable price points. The brand recently hinted that it has several devices with 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge fast charging in the making. The Realme X2 from its Realme brand already debuted a few days back, and now we know when to expect the next 30W totting Oppo K5 smartphone.
Recall that Oppo has a launch event for October 10 in China for the Oppo Reno Ace. Now, a new promo poster has revealed that the Oppo Reno Ace isn’t the only device to e launched on the said date. The Oppo K5 as per the promo poster will aslo go official on October 10 in China.

Aside from the launch date, the promo banner also reveals a few of its key specs. First, it will come in Green, Blue and White colors with 3D Glass back. Also, the OPPO K5 will feature a Quad-camera setup including a 64MP main sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The poster further reveals that the phone will offer photography features like black and white, retro and portrait.
OPPO K5 Desing, and Specs
The design looks identical to the recently Realme X2, the only change been the gradient glass back with OPPO branding. An OPPO made device believed to be the OPPO K5 had earlier this month surfaced on TENAA with full specs and images. The device as per information from the regulatory body flaunts a 6.4-inch 1080×2340 touchscreen complete with an embedded fingerprint scanner. Powering the K5 is a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
In the power unit, the said OPPO K5 gets a 3,920 mAh battery with support for the 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge, while Android 9 Pie with the latest version of ColorOS on top is the OS of choice.
