Google Stadia Cloud Gaming Service Officially Coming on November 19

At the Google Manufacturing 2019 conference, Google officially announced the release date of the Stadia cloud gaming service. It turns out the much-talked game streaming service will be officially launched on November 19.

Stadia Founder’s Edition will start arriving on gamers’ doorsteps on November 19, 2019. If you were one of the first gamers who pre-ordered and have received your Founder’s Editions, you’ll be able to buy and play your favorite games beginning at 9AM PST/5PM BST/6PM CET on November 19.

At the time of launch, Google Stadia will only support mobile devices made by Google. Prior to adding Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL today, the Stadia list included Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. Google Stadia Founder and Premiere Edition will ship ‘in the same order that pre-orders were received.’

You’ll get an email when your package ships, and soon after, will receive a code to activate your Stadia account and Stadia Pro.

Google introduced the Stadia Controller (a control handle) to gamers as well. This Google-made accessory connects directly to the data center via Wi-Fi for the lowest latency experience. You can also use the PlayStation DualShock 4, Xbox One control handle or any other standard device.

Google Stadia will be online next month and will need Stadia Founder Edition or Premiere Edition. The latter includes a controller for the TV and Chromecast Ultra, as well as a three-month Stadia Pro. Founder can also choose to share unique usernames, badges, and Buddy Pass.

The package bundle is available in the US, Canada, and the UK, while the other 11 countries or territories offer Premiere services for the same $129 price.
