The latest update brings features such as dedicated Dark Mode, updated charging animations and much more. Just like previously, the brand announced the rollout of the new update on its official forum website.
Realme C2 October Security Update Brings Dark Mode
The budget-focussed Realme C2 has now started receiving a new update over-the-air which carries the version RMX1941EX_11.A.18. As per the information provided on the forum, the update weighs around 1.97GB in size. As mentioned earlier, the new update brings the device to the latest October Android Security fixes. The key highlight of this update is the dedicated Dark Mode which is one of the most anticipating features of the year. The current charging animation is updated along with the addition of Realme Laboratory to the app screen.
With this new update, the users can now swipe down on the home screen to open the global search and notification centre. Speaking of notifications, there is a notification dot switch option in the Settings app now. Another notable change is the addition of SIM network toggle in the notification centre. This means that users can easily switch between the SIM cards without having to go deep inside the Settings application. Lastly, the annoying reminder of Mobile Hotspot running has been removed from the notification centre.
