Huami, the brand behind Amazfit, has just introduced two new earbuds in the market making its first foray into the consumer audio products segment. These earbuds are the Huami Amazfit PowerBuds that come with built-in heart rate monitor as well as the Amazfit ZenBuds that are designed to help you sleep. Both these products come with in-ear silicone tips vary slightly in terms of fit and finish as well as features.
As far as Amazfit Powerbuds are concerned, they are totally wireless earbuds and have a case along with them for charging the earbuds on-the-go and are designed for sports enthusiasts since they have magnetic sports ear hooks which keep the earbuds in place during workouts.
You get an in-built heart rate monitor inside the earbuds so that you get real-time data of your heart rate and alerts you when such an emergency arises. It is IP55-certified which means it is dust and water-resistant and weighs just 7 grams with a 55mAh battery (on the buds) and a 450mAh battery for the charging case.
Amazfit’s ZenBuds are earbuds that let you sleep with the help of its noise-blocking feature. It also plays soothing sounds and the sounds turn off automatically once you are asleep. You can also get your sleep pattern data from the earbuds and they weigh just 1.78 grams per earbud.
Amazfit says that its PowerBuds will be available for $99.9 from February 2020 in White, Black and Yellow color variants. Pricing of the Amazfit ZenBuds is not revealed and nor is its availability. However, they will only be available in White colour.
