1. Realme X2 Pro
Once again, the first phone is the Realme X2 Pro by Oppo’s sub-brand The handset does indeed manage to pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus for less than $500; heck you can even get it for under $400 if you’re willing to settle with 64GB of storage.
The Realme X2 Pro then features a large 6.5-inch display of the AMOLED type with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile in the camera department we find a 64MP primary shooter accompanied by an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens, a 13MP telefoto camera and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front we have a 16MP camera for high res selfies.
Finally, Realme’s flagship packs a large 4000mAh capacity battery with support for 50W fast charging, headphone jack, NFC and runs ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.
2. Oppo Reno Ace
Following, we have the powerhouse Oppo Reno Ace coming yet again with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus along with a minimum of 8GB of RAM an 128GB of internal storage.
We then find a 6.5-inch 90Hz e-sports ready screen and four rear cameras on the back. Including a main 48MP camera, along with a 13MP ultra wide angle, an 8MP telephoto and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies we instead have a single 16MP selfie snapper.
The smartphone supports the new 65W SuperVOOC super flash charging. Meaning it can charge the 4000mAh capacity battery completely in just 30 minutes. With 5 minutes of charging that can bring around 2 hours to 6 hours of autonomy.
3. Redmi K30 5G

The latest Redmi K30 5G launched in December is the first ever 5G phone to enter our top 5. Despise featuring support for the next gen cellular network the smartphone does indeed cost less than $500 or $400 for that matter. Now, while the K30 5G doesn’t feature some flagship-like specs like a Snapdragon 855 Plus, on-board we still find some rather impressive hardware.
Starting with the large 6.67-inch Full HD+ panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz, within which we find a pill-shaped punch-hole with two cameras having 20MP and 2MP resolution. Meanwhile on the back we find a total of four cameras, including a primary 64MP sensor, a secondary 8MP ultra wide angle, a third 2MP sensor for portraits and a 5MP macro lens.
The Redmi K30 5G is then fueled by the still very powerful Snapdragon 765G CPU; along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Other specs include NFC, audio jack, infrared emitter, a large 4500mAh battery and 30W fast charging.

4. Huawei Nova 6
Another very recent phone to hit the market is the latest Huawei Nova 6. The handset packs some of the best hardware available at Huawei such as the powerful HiSilicon KIRIN 990 built on a 7nm manufacturing process; along with it we then find 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Huawei Nova 6 packs a large 6.57-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and dual punch-hole cameras in the upper left corner. These cameras have resolutions of 32MP and 8MP with the secondary featuring an ultra wide angle lens. On the back of the device we instead find three shooters of 40MP, 8MP telephoto and 8MP ultra wide angle.
Finally, the Nova features a 4100mAh capacity battery with support for Huawei Super Fast Charge at 40W and runs Android 10 out of the box.
5. OnePlus 7T
Last but not least, if you’re a fan of OxygenOS or OnePlus in general, then the latest OnePlus 7T is the one to get. The smartphone can indeed be found for less than $500 now; while equipping the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of fast UFS 3.0 storage.
The handset also shines for its large 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate. While in the camera department we have a primary 48MP sensor, paired with a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra wide angle camera. On the front, selfies are taken care off by a 16MP sensor.
Finally, the OnePlus 7T is fueled by a 3800mAh capacity battery with support for 30W fast charge and runs Oxygen 10 based on Android 10.
