Back in December, Xiaomi announced that the company will soon launch its next iteration of flagship smartphone dubbed Xiaomi Mi 10. It will run on the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset with the support of SA and NSA dual-mode 5G connectivity. Well, we now have some more information on the device. This leak is coming straight from a Chinese digital blogger. As per the leak, the upcoming Mi 10 will come with a punch-hole AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Apart from that, the device will feature a quad-camera module at the back aligned in the vertical position. Furthermore, we should see a 100MP primary camera sensor. Another report has also suggested that the camera performance will be close to Galaxy S20 Ultra. This will not be the company’s first smartphone to come with such a massive camera lens. Earlier, Xiaomi launched Mi Note 10 which comes with a 108MP primary sensor on the back. Additionally, the Mi 10 might come with a 4,500mAh battery with the support of up to 66W fast charging. We might also see fast 30W wireless charging technology packed inside the phone.
According to Pan Jiutang, a partner of the Xiaomi Industry Investment Department, the Mi 10 is expected to arrive with a starting price tag of 4,000 Yuan (roughly $583). Coming to the expected release date, the device might see its official unveiling in February 2020. As expected, the device will first make its way to the Chinese market. We might then see the phone getting a global launch in markets such as India. Speaking of that, the company is also planning to launch more Mi phones in India this year. Since the launch event is coming closer, we might see more information in the coming weeks. Earlier, we saw a leaked poster surfacing online revealing design of the smartphone. As per the poster, the design of the phone is based on the Mi Mix Alpha.
