After months of speculation and rumors, AKG finally took the wraps off its new AKG N400 truly wireless earbuds. The first appearance of the new hearables was in the Samsung SmarThings app update from July last year. Now, the new earbuds are official as a special gift for those purchasing Samsung’s 2020 QLED 8K smart TV in the home country. For that reason, they’re not widely available for all users. At least not for now. When you buy the new smart TV from Samsung’s website in South Korea, you can claim the earbuds with a good 50% off.
The new AKG N400 Earbuds come to succeed in the AKG N200. However, there’s no page from Samsung to reveal the features coming with the new TWS. They are only available in Black Color, but more color options will emerge with expanded availability. Samsung released the Galaxy Buds+ last month along with the Galaxy S20 series offering improvements and Audio by AKG.

Apparently, Samsung is using the new AKG earbuds as a marketing strategy to help with the sales of its premium TVs. After all, they’re a good deal for those purchasing the new premium TV. The pre-sale benefit for 2020 QLED 8K smart TV will be available until March 16. Worth noting that they remain exclusive to the South-Korean market for the time being. We expect to see them reaching the Global markets in the coming months.
