Apple iPhone 9 / iPhone SE 2020 is closer to launch

As of now, the store only lists the Apple iPhone 9 and does not disclose any photos and specification information. However, the product page shows that after you place the order, it will be shipped from May 01 to May 10. This shipping date seems to suggest that the iPhone 9 will officially arrive in April.

Gizchina News of the week

From media reports, the iPhone 9 may use the “iPhone SE 2020” nomenclature. This device adopts much of the iPhone 8 design/appearance and it will be available in white, black and red. In terms of specifications, the iPhone SE 2020 will come with the same A13 chip as the iPhone 11. However, it will have 3GB of RA and 64GB – 256GB of internal storage.

As of now, there is no information on a possible Plus version so we stick with the iPhone 9. This smartphone has also been spotted on iOS 14 code. As for its price, the iPhone SE 2020 or iPhone 9 will start at $399, like its predecessor. It will be a cheap successor to the iPhone 8 – it would borrow its design and screen size (4.7 inches). It would benefit from better autonomy, an A13 chip, support for the CarKey API, and will come without 3D Touch.  The iPhone SE with a $399 price tag is currently the cheapest iPhone model in China. With the iPhone SE 2020 starting at the same $399, Apple has a good price strategy. This device will probably be a good option for fans who need an iPhone on a “small” budget.
