Instagram lets you do a “virtual unboxing” of OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro!

OnePlus 8 Pro

OnePlus has finally unveiled its highly anticipated OnePlus 8 series. Both OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro came with everything you expect from a 2020 flagship. And if you want to try the unboxing experience and discover what comes in the box of the new smartphones, the company has a solution for you.

The OnePlus AR Unboxing experience

OnePlus team is using simple AR tech to bring a virtual experience of their new products to the community. They’re launching two AR filters on their Instagram channels. One for the OnePlus 8 and the other for the 8 Pro. These filters are a sweet setup to help you virtually unbox the OnePlus 8 Series at any place and at any time.

To get started, visit @oneplus or @oneplus_india on Instagram and check the new filters tab. Pick your preferred unboxing filter, find a surface to unbox your device and get rolling. Once you hit record, you can tap and interact with the box to see its various components. Later you can save the video and upload it.
