Xiaomi to Launch RedmiBook or Mi Laptops in India Sooner Than Expected

RedmiBook 14 Plus

Last month, Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 bagged the BIS certification indicating imminent Indian launch. Well, it seems like the range of RedmiBook or Mi laptops might make its way to the country sooner than we expected. A notable leakster, Ishan Agarwal, posted on his official Twitter account revealing some insights of Xiaomi India’s recent online meeting.

As per the tweet, Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain, earlier today, hosted an online meeting with retailers. In the meeting, Jain talked about Mi/Redmi laptops and said that the company will launch the range of laptops in the country as soon as possible. Sadly, the concrete date or timeline still remains unknown and it makes sense considering the current coronavirus outbreak in the country.

He also talked about the Mi Pad lineup and showed no interest in bringing more tablets in the country. Lastly, he also did not mention any information on the Mi 10 Lite or K30 Pro smartphone. It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi is expected to bring Redmi Note 9 lineup in the country as well.

With that said, Xiaomi seems to have a plethora of new products in its Indian pipeline. The company recently brought its Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner to the country.
