iQOO Z1, world’s first Dimensity 1000+ powered phone, receives 3C approval

iQOO Z1

After many months just bragging about its best chipset to the date, MediaTek partnered with Vivo to bring the world’s first Dimensity 1000+ powered smartphone. The handset which will be known as iQOO Z1 will be an affordable flagship with some nice specifications. Just a few hours after the announcement of the partnership and the upcoming device, a mysterious Vivo smartphone appeared on 3C.

The handset carries the V1986 model number and apparently, it’s the iQOO Z1. We expect to see this handset passing through several certification authorities in the coming days. After all, it will be released soon. As usual, the iQOO Z1 launch route starts with a 3C agency. As you may expect, this certification doesn’t reveal much apart from the charging capacity. That said, we can see that the smartphone will boast 44W fast-charging. It’s not the most impressive charging rate but still stands as one of the best offers in the market.

Apart from the certification, we can only make assumptions about this new handset based on Dimensity 1000+ features. The handset will come with 5G UltraSave network power-saving technology and HyperEngine. The latter is MediaTek’s groundbreaking technology to give users the best gaming experience they can have on their chipsets. iQOO by nature is a gaming-smartphone sub-brand, so we can expect high-quality gaming features coming with this package of specs.

Another interesting characteristic of this chipset is the support for 144Hz refresh rate displays. Rumors have it that the iQOO Z1 will be another of iQOO’s smartphone to boast this whopping display refresh rate. Talking about the display, it should include MediaTek’s Mira Vision tech, ensuring 4K video quality optimization and HDR10+ support.

We believe that more details about the handset will keep popping out in the coming days.
