Honor X10 will be the “master key” of the 5G world

The development of 5G smartphones is not yet mature thus many 5G phones support a limited number of  5G frequency bands. This morning, Honor, released an official poster which shows that the Honor X10 will support up to 9 5G frequency bands. Officially, the company calls this smartphone  “the master key of the 5G world“. It is worth noting that the Honor X10 supports the 9 largest 5G frequency bands in the industry at present. This means that it will meet all the network construction needs of the three major Chinese operators.

According to the company, this phone’s network will be top-notch over the next three years. Recall that during the climbing of Mount Everest by the Chinese mountaineering team, the Honor X10 followed the team to the “Devil Camp”. At an altitude of 6,500 meters, this smartphone withstood the test of harsh natural conditions. Its images and videos were good and it measured the height of Everest’s 5G speed at multiple heights. It was fast, reliable, and hit a maximum speed of 1617Mbps.

In addition, Huawei Xi’an Research Institute Honor 5G Lab officially opened its doors today. The lab is the result of Huawei and Honor’s long-term investment in the 5G field. According to Huawei’s VP, this lab was involved in the planning, design, testing, production of the Honor X10. Furthermore, the testing cost for this smartphone exceeds 300 million yuan ($42 million). Furthermore, the cumulative test time exceeds 500,000 hours, and the speed of dialing calls is more than 250,000 times.

This lab will also undertake the task of future 5G technology research. It will then use the research result to help the development of Honor’s 5G products. With such a dedicated lab, Honor can stay relevant and ahead in the 5G field. According to the company, the Honor X10 will officially meet with us on May 20.
