Galaxy A31 goes official in Spain with Helio P65 SoC and $336 Price Tag

Back in March, Samsung officially revealed its budget smartphone dubbed Galaxy A31. The chaebol revealed everything we need to know about it on its press website. Well, the smartphone has now finally made its way to Europe, namely Spain. here is everything you need to know about the smartphone.

Before we talk about the specs, let’s take a look at the pricing first. The Galaxy A31 smartphone comes in a single storage option featuring 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard memory. The device comes in two color options namely Prism Crush Black and Prism Crush Blue. It will set you back around 299 Euros (i.e. roughly $336).

The smartphone is now listed on the official Samsung Spain website while there is no Buy Now button available as of now. With that said, interested buyers should be able to purchase the device soon.

Talking about the specs, the Galaxy A31 is equipped with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel featuring a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The Infinity-U display comes with a waterdrop notch housing the front selfie camera. Under the hood, the device makes use of Helio P65 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 54GB memory. Surprisingly, the device was also unveiled in a 6GB RAM variant but the same is not the case for Spain. We might see the brand adding a new variant in the near future.

In terms of optics, we’re looking at a quad rear camera module featuring a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, there is a single 20MP front snapper with f/2.2 aperture. Powered by 5,000 mAh battery, the device also makes use of 15W fast charging. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics while users can also make use of face recognition.

On the software front, the device runs on the Android 10 operating system with One UI 2.0 skin on top. The device also comes with the support of Samsung Pay. Other features include Bluetooth 5, dual-band WiFi, dual 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port, Doly Atmos, and 3.5-mm audio jack.
