Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Tab S7 series have green tint issues

After the Samsung Galaxy S20 green tint issue, early this year, the notorious issue has recently reappeared in the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S7 series.

According to a report by SamMobile, several new owners of Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Tab S7+ and even Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones are suffering from this problem. Obviously, reducing the brightness of the aforementioned devices below a certain value will make the display appear green. Currently, only the Snapdragon model of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is affected by this problem. Considering that the previous release only mainly affected the Exynos version of the Galaxy S20 series, it is worth noting.

In addition, the basic Galaxy Tab S7 affected by this issue may also point to the fact that the issue may not be related to the previously speculated Super AMOLED driver. Although, the problem is not only present in Samsung devices. Other devices from various OEMs (including OnePlus, Google, Apple, etc.) also have this problem.

This problem of green screens has previously manifested itself on the Apple iPhone 11, Google Pixel 4, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus Nord. The problem does not appear to be a hardware issue and could be fixed by a software update, as was the case with the Galaxy S20 series.
