Several years have passed since the first “smartwatch” was released, however, it seems that 2020 is the year when those wearables are finally getting popularity among overall customers. This isn’t a coincidence, since more and more companies are joining the segment with competitive affordable options of smartwatches. Interestingly enough, the market of wearables that comprises smartwatches, smart bands and TWS devices managed to overcome the COVID-19 crisis quite well during the first quarters of 2020. One of the companies that joined the segment this year is Realme with a new smartwatch. The company that conquered the world with competitive smartphones is now ready to further solidify its presence in the wearable segment. According to FCC, there is a new smartwatch dubbed Realme Watch S Pro coming soon.
So far, we haven’t heard anything from Realme regarding the new smartwatch. However, FCC was kind enough to post several photos revealing the design of the new smartwatch along with key specifications. If you didn’t enjoy the Realme Watch squarish form factor, then you’ll be glad to know that the new wearable will come with a circular form factor.

First of all, the Realme Watch S Pro packs a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels of resolution and Always On mode. The new wearable watch weight is 63.5g and it measures 46.1mm in diameter. Other details include a 12.8mm thickness and a 420mAh battery. Once again, Realme will bet on its proprietary software instead of Android Wear. In the end, is a win-win for most users, since Google still needs to address some issues with Android Wear battery usage. It’s not as advanced, but you’ll get some useful features and solid battery life.
This seems to be a complete smartwatch offering GPS with GLONASS. This feature is not always available across “budget” smartwatches, but it’s really important as it reduces the dependence on a smartphone. The wearable, obviously, will come with a heart rate sensor, sleep tracking and it also comes with the trending SpO2 sensor. It can be fully integrated with your smartphone to display notifications, control music playback, and control the camera.
