Vivo Y20 Purist Blue Colour Option Launched In India with new 6+64GB Option

Back in August this year, Vivo had introduced the new Y20 smartphone along with Y20i. The smartphone comes packed in with tons of interesting features including the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset and feature triple-rear camera setup.  All these specifications coupled with a whole ton of other interesting features attract users. Additionally, now, Vivo has introduced a new variant of the Vivo Y20 smartphone. Furthermore, the brand has also appended a new colour option for the latest smartphone.

As for the new variant goes, the company has introduced a 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option for its smartphones. The new variant of Vivo Y20 has been priced in India is INR 13,990. Previously, the company introduced the 4GB RAM + 64GB option for INR 12,990. Additionally, the brand has also launched a new Purist Blue colour for Vivo Y20. The colour option will be available with both the variants.

Amidst this, The Vivo Y20 variant with 6GB + 64GB will now be available in Purist Blue and Obsidian Black colour options, whereas the Vivo Y20 4GB + 64GB option is available in Purist Blue, Obsidian Black and Dawn White options. As for an update from Vivo, The new variant and colour options will be available across offline partner retail stores, Vivo India E-store, and other major e-commerce websites starting September 24, 2020.

Vivo Y20 Specifications

Talking about the specs, the device is equipped with a 6.51-inch display with HD+ resolution. There is a waterdrop notch on the display that houses the front selfie camera. The display has thin bezels on the side and a sizeable chin. Under the hood, Vivo Y20 make use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset paired with 64GB of onboard storage. If that’s not enough, then you can easily expand it up to 256GB using the microSD slot.

In terms of optics, we’re looking at a triple rear camera module on the back featuring a 13MP primary sensor, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. On the other side, there is an 8MP front snapper for selfies and video calling. Powered by a large 5,000 mAh battery, the device supports 18W fast charging. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. We’re also looking at 3.5mm audio jack, Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10.5.

The original variant will set you back around INR 12,990 (i.e. $175) while the toned-down option is priced at INR 11,490 (i.e. $155). Both the devices will be available for purchase starting from August 28 and September 3 respectively. It should be available from Vivo India’s online store, e-commerce platforms, and of course, offline retail store
