Samsung wants to take advantage of the fall of Huawei and is rushing to launch the Galaxy S21 series. We are assured of this by sources familiar with the company’s plans. According to them, the Galaxy S21 family will be available a month earlier than usual – in January 2021. An indirectly fast release is also confirmed by the more frequent leaks of information about the new products. This time the resource 91mobiles distinguished itself, which, as an exclusivity, published material on the key characteristics of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The famous network informant Ishan Agarwal is the source of the information.
The smartphone has a large 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen, a 5000 mAh battery and a 40-megapixel front camera. The main camera will offer four sensors, where the key one will be a 108-megapixel sensor. The Galaxy S21 Ultra should be running the Android 11 operating system with One UI 3.0 user interface.
We expect that the display refresh rate will be 120 Hz and the smartphone will run the Exynos 2100 processor or Snapdragon 875 (depending on the region of sale). The dimensions of the flagship body will be 165.1×5.6×8.9 mm and it will be available in at least two colors: black and silver.
Galaxy S21 Ultra will arrive with five cameras and a faster charging speed
In the first quarter of next year, Samsung will introduce an updated line of Galaxy S smartphones. We expect that there will be three new products: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Starting next year, the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series will lose the status of the most premium devices; which were the most technologically advanced devices in the company’s lineup. Now, the Galaxy Z series foldable smartphones will be at the forefront of progress; so you shouldn’t expect something revolutionary from the Galaxy S21 family.
There is no doubt that, depending on the region of sale, the new devices will be available with a Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 chip. In the case of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the manufacturer will install an OLED display with a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of at least 120 Hz (possibly 144 Hz). Also, the rear camera will receive a system of five sensors, where the main ISOCELL Bright HM2 is 108-megapixel. They promise support for recording in 8K format at 30fps and an optical image stabilization system.
The battery capacity will be 5,000 mAh; and the company will go to increase the charging speed, bringing its power up to 65 W. It will almost certainly offer support for wireless and reverse charging, and rumor has it that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a stylus in the box.
