In addition, iPhone 12 uses an aviation-grade aluminum metal frame, Dolby Vision HDR video recording up to 30 fps, with a 2x optical zoom range. The iPhone 12 Pro uses a surgical grade stainless steel frame, Dolby Vision HDR video recording up to 60 fps, with a 4x optical zoom range. Its lidar scanner can achieve night mode portraits, faster autofocus in low-light environments, and a better-augmented reality experience.

In all, there have been multiple complaints regarding the available iPhone 12s. For starters, the battery performance is well behind in the smartphone industry. Furthermore, the MagSafe wireless charging capacity is only 15W. This is also far behind the competition. Although the iPhone 12 is highly resistant to falls, early reviews claim that it is also highly susceptible to scratches.
