The Huawei Mate Xs hit the market last year, and this year Huawei will launch a new foldable-screen smartphone called the Huawei Mate X2.
Recently, a smartphone with model number Huawei TET-AN10 has been certified by the TENAA regulator in China. Sources are confident that the Huawei Mate X2 is hiding under this model number. TENAA confirms that the phone has two screens, including an 8.01″ foldable main display and an external 6.56″ display.
The 8.01-inch main display has a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels, it will fold inside the case (like the Galaxy Fold), while the outside will have a secondary display with a resolution of 2700 x 1160 pixels. These displays are manufactured by Samsung and BOE.
The phone has a battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh, the dimensions of the smartphone are 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2 mm. The phone will support 66W fast charging.
The smartphone will arrive with the 5-nanometer Kirin 9000 SoC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6 and will run EMUI 11.
Huawei Mate X2 Delayed For Unknown Reasons, But The Project Still Runs On
In October last year, Huawei released the flagship Mate 40 series smartphones. So taking into consideration the previous practice, the next models should belong to the Mate Xs folding screen line. However, it seems that the update of folding screen phones will take longer.
