Military-grade LG K42 launched in India with two-year warranty


South Korean manufacturer, LG, recently released a tough, military-grade phone in India. The LG K42 is a rugged phone that was first announced as early as September 2020. However, there has been no information on the price of this device. The official information shows that this device will sell for Rs. 10,990 ($150). It will officially hit the shelves on January 26th. One of the interesting aspects of this sale is that it comes with a  two-year warranty. Within the warranty period, users can change the display of this device for free.

LG K42 supports MIL-STD-819G US military three-proof certification. It is highly resistant to fall and impact and can withstand extremely high and low temperature natural environments. This device comes with a quad-rear camera setup. It uses a 13MP main camera as well as an ultra-wide-angle, macro, and depth-of-field lenses.

Under the hood, the LG K42 uses a 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 SoC (2.0GHz eight-core design). The RAM size of this phone is 3GB while the internal storage is 64GB. To keep its lights on is a 4000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging. This phone also comes with a 6.6-inch full-screen punch-hole display with a resolution of 1600 × 720.

The rear of this device uses a special wear-resistant protective layer. In addition, it has a side fingerprint recognition sensor as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
