Realme Narzo 30 series will debut in India on February 24

Realme Narzo 30

Realme started the Narzo series as an Indian exclusive lineup of smartphones with competitive specs and affordable price tags. While the original Realme Narzo devices were basically classic budget smartphones, the brand improved the game with the Realme Narzo 20 series. Now, the brand is set to improve even more with the upcoming Realme Narzo 30 series. After many rumors and leaks, the brand is finally set to introduce the new handsets in India. Today, Realme officially revealed that a launch event for the Realme Narzo 30 series will be held at 12:30 PM local time on February 24. The brand will introduce the Realme Narzo 30A and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G.

Realme Narzo 30 Pro

We assume that the 30A is taking the role of basic phone, whereas the Realme Narzo 30 Pro wil be the first 5G phone in the family. Alongside the duo of smartphones, the brand is also set to introduce the Buds Air TWS earbuds. We’re also expecting a bunch of new Narzo-branded gaming accessories such as a new keyboard, mouse and an Air-controller.

Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G specifications

The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset. Interestingly, this chipset is the same giving power to the Realme X7 5G which went official earlier this month in the country. We expect the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G’s price to be lower than the X7 5G though. The Realme 30 Pro 5G passed by TENAA a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, the listing does not bring many detials about the specifications. We know, however, that the device has a punch-hole display, runs Android 11 and has a 4,880mAh battery that will likely be fed by 65W fast-charging.

The microsite of the Realme Narzo 30 series confirms that the Pro model’s screen will have a punch-hole positioned at the upper-left corner. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. This bit basically confirms that the panel will be of the LCD kind. We expect it to come with 120Hz refresh rate, or 90Hz in the worst case scenario. The device brings Realme’s traditional rectangular-shaped camera island. It comprises a triple-camera system and a single LED flash unit.

The Narzo 30A has a squarish camera housing that houses a triple-camera system and a LED flash. Unfortunately, we don’t know the Realme Narzo 30A specifiations, but the device has an interesting pattern on the back.

According to the landing page, the Realme Narzo 30 series is aiming towards the youth of the country. We also expect it to come with a certain “gaming appeal” after all, this explain the new Narzo-branded gaming accessories. As far the Realme Buds Air 2 is concerned, the new TWS will pack ANC and a design that is reminiscent from the Realme Buds Pro.
