There have been reports that Honor will cooperate with Canon but this report is actually fake. In addition, another fake report is that Huawei will officially release the Huawei P50 on April 17th. According to credible reports, the company will launch the Huawei P50 series towards the end of the year. The report claims that both the P50 series and Huawei Tab will arrive on April 26th or 27th. Presently, many mobile phone manufacturers cooperate with other companies for their cameras. For instance, we have Huawei & Leica, Nokia & Sony, Vivo & Zeiss. Most recently, OnePlus & Hasselblad.
At the moment, the Huawei P50 series is already ready for mass production; it will include the Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro, and Huawei P50 Pro+ models. The basic version will be equipped with the Kirin 9000E mobile platform, and the bigger versions will be equipped with the Kirin 9000. In addition, the small version will have a 6.1-inch display, while the Huawei P50 Pro and Huawei P50 Pro + will receive a 6.6-inch and 6.8 -inch panel, respectively. Of course, the top cameras should be the main advantages of the P50 Pro and P50 Pro + smartphones.
The global version of the P50 should arrive with EMUI 11.1; while the Chinese version will receive HarmonyOS. The smartphone will arrive without Google services; instead of them, users will get Huawei Mobile Services and the AppGallery store.
According to @Teme, the prototype design for this series is ready. In terms of specs, what we know as “Lite” model in the previous generation will be the new standard version. In addition, the standard version in the previous generations will be the new Pro model while the previous generation Pro model will be the new Pro+ model.
Teme claims that the selling points of this series include screen quality, a new super-sensitive rear camera system, and brand new gaming features. His leak also has information on the processor of this series. He claims that the standard regular model will use the Kirin 9000E chip. However, the Pro model as well as the Pro+ model of this series will come with the Kirin 9000 SoC.
There have been reports that Huawei will obtain a new RYYB module for production. Thus, it is likely that the company will use this technology for this series new super sensory rear camera system.
