So, it takes only 29 minutes to fully charge the OnePlus 9 Pro from 0 to 100% over the wire – due to the support of 65W fast charging technology. The OnePlus 9 Pro also supports Wireless charging, and with it, it fully charges in 43 minutes – the power, in this case, is 50 watts. OnePlus also showed off a new wireless charger with a pluggable (rather than built-in) USB-C cable.
We will remind, the announcement of OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will take place next week. The smartphones are running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, 2K 120Hz screens and a brand new Hasselblad camera.

OnePlus 9 series
The OnePlus 9 5G will feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED FullHD + Hz screen, while the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G may have a 6.67-inch AMOLED QHD + screen with 120Hz refresh rate support. The smartphones will be running the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform and will receive up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of flash memory.
The main camera of the OnePlus 9, in collaboration with Hasselblad, includes Sony IMX789 and Sony IMX766 image sensors. The front camera is 16 megapixels. The smartphones will receive a 4500 mAh battery with support for fast charging technology.
This week, OnePlus started accepting pre-orders for the new OnePlus 9 smartphones that have not yet been announced. However, this does not stop fans. Along with the flagship OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro; the company will present a more affordable version called the OnePlus 9R.
Up to this point, names like the OnePlus 9E and 9 Lite have been announced; but now OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed in an interview with Indian news outlet News 18 that the phone will be named OnePlus 9R 5G.
“Along with the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, we are excited to launch the OnePlus 9R in India. We are focused on expanding our smartphone offering to meet the varied demands of users with the OnePlus 9R, delivering a reliable flagship experience at a more affordable price”.
Lau added that OnePlus is committed to creating an affordable alternative to its flagship offerings. The OnePlus 9R is will be a low-cost, high-performance smartphone; with a focus on mobile gaming, smooth scrolling and a superior viewing experience.
This model will initially be exclusive to India.
