OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are introduced with Hasselblad cameras, fast charge and 120Hz Displays

OnePlus 9

Well, it finally happened! OnePlus revealed its flagship OnePlus 9 family, which includes three models. Now let’s talk about the main international models- OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. Each of them flaunts mainly a Hasselblad camera, which the company says has made measurable progress over last year’s camera. This is achieved through the influence of the famous photo brand, including through the Pro-mode of shooting. In practice, this influence manifested itself in working with color when shooting photos and videos, as well as in width performance. Both are backed up by impressive hardware: a bunch of advanced Sony IMX789 and Sony IMX766 FreeForm Lens in the OnePlus 9 Pro.

The OnePlus 9 Pro comes with a Fluid AMOLED Display 2.0. Behind the marketing name is an LTPO panel with a variable refresh rate in the range from 1 to 120 Hz, which should have a positive effect on the autonomy of the device. It is complemented by a high-sensitivity touch-sensor, which OnePlus calls HyperTouch, a 10-bit color gamut, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, an enhancer for content playback and other technical goodies. There is also a 16-megapixel front camera in the hole on the top left and a sub-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 888 is expectedly responsible for the performance in conjunction with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory, fast 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as an impressive five-level cooling system to ensure stability when playing games on a high fps display.

The standard version of the OnePlus 9 has a number of differences that OnePlus says are less critical to the user experience. So, it also has a 120-Hz display (right, in Full HD + resolution), also a powerful Hasselblad camera (for details on the differences, see the table below, also a 65-W fast wired WARP Charge for a 4500 mAh battery, although wireless charging is only 30 W, instead of 50 W. The top-end hardware is leded by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, and Oxygen OS 11 software on Android 11.

The OnePlus 9 will be offered in three colors: Astal Black, Arctic Sky and Winter Mist. In turn, OnePlus 9 Pro can be selected in black (Stellar Black), silver (Morning Mist) or green (Pine Green). Both will be available in 8/128 and 12/256 GB versions, and prices start at 699 euros.
