OnePlus Watch brings a smartphone-like screen refresh rate

Most of the current smartwatches use a 30fps refresh rate screen. However, the product manager revealed that with the help of the technical team, the display effect of the OnePlus watch is optimized to achieve a refresh rate of 50fps. This is almost the same refresh rate (60Hz) as many smartphones in the industry.

This watch uses the ST32 + Apollo 3 + Cypress three-chip processor solution. The ST32 chip has strong processing capabilities and is responsible for screen display. In addition, the Apollo 3 low-power chip controls multiple sensors. It also monitors health data for a long time. As for the Cypress chip, it is a professional communication chip for Bluetooth connection function. These three chips can work together to maximize system efficiency. They also reduce power consumption and ensure that the screen runs at a high frame rate.

This OnePlus Watch has both a microphone and a speaker and supports IP68 water resistance. The product manager claims that when the watch is in water, the vibration through the speaker helps to drain the water out of the opening. In addition, the watch also has 4GB of storage space, 2GB can be used by the user, and can store about 500 songs.
