Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite emerges on TENAA with 5000mAh battery

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

Tablets certainly are the hottest devices out there running Android. Unlike Apple, Google never managed to deliver a bright tablet experience with its OS. However, some OEMs like Huawei, Lenovo, and Samsung have been expanding the usability of the software with their own skins offering plenty of features to justify the existence of big-sized Android devices. The latter has a strong lineup of flagship tablets under its Galaxy Tab S series, but also has, some cost-effective tablets under its Tablet A series. According to rumors, the company’s next big launch will be the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. We have been seeing many leaks revealing details about the new slate. Now, the device has acquired China’s TENAA certification which also brings in-depth details about its specifications.

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite: TENAA certification reveals key specs

The new Galaxy Tab A7 Lite emerged on the TENAA database with a huge 5,000mAh battery and Android 11 straight out of the box. The latest software implies that it will run One UI 3.1 straight out of the box. According to the listing, the phone bears model number SM-T225C and measures 212.5 x 124.7 x 8mm. The battery capacity may be impressive on smartphones, but we don’t think it will be so outstanding on a device with an 8.7-inch screen even one that presumably has a resolution lower than FHD. Samsung will be equipping it with 15W fast-charging support, hopefully, a charging adapter with that output will be included in the retail package.

Gizchina News of the week

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite packs a single rear camera on the back and a single camera on the front. According to a previously leaked GeekBench info, the new smartphone will run with the MediaTek Helio P22T chipset. It’s a Cortex-A53 Octa-Core chipset. It scored 840 on single-core tests and 3,838 on the multi-core department. The tablet has 3GB of RAM and we assume that this amount is paired with 32GB of Internal Storage. Hopefully, there will be more variants for those who need extra storage or multitasking capabilities. Of course, with an Helio P22T, we’re not expecting this tablet to be a powerhouse. Anyway, users can still expand the storage in the lesser variant thanks to microSD card support.

The new tablet went live on the company’s official Russian website. Moreover, the support page has been made available in some of the company’s European websites. The list of countries getting this tablet includes Belgium, Norway, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, the Caribbean, Portugal, Liechtenstein, and Spain among others.

Considering the amount of info appearing, we assume that the launch is imminent.
