OnePlus has quickly evolved from a startup to one of the more relevant smartphone makers in the world. The brand is currently amassing positive results across the world, especially in Europe. According to the latest report with data from the first quarter of this year, the company’s performance in Europe shows a 388% growth in sales when compared to the first quarter of 2021. The revenue from the region increased by 286%. Apparently, more and more European customers are buying OnePlus smartphones every year.

The OnePlus flagship models, which includes the newly launched OnePlus 9 series, accounted for 65% of revenue. So far, the OnePlus 9 Pro is the best-selling smartphone on launch day on Amazon France and Spain. However, the mid-range Nord series is also proving to be an important part of the company’s strategy. The new mid-range smartphones are helping the company to get more users across the world.

OnePlus premium smartphones get the biggest demand, but mid-range demand also impress

Considering the research shared by Counterpoint for the last quarter of 2020, the OnePlus Nord was the highest-selling Android in Finland. It helped the company to become the leader in the $250-$450 segment. In Denmark, it was the most popular 5G smartphone in the same price range. It’s surprising to see that OnePlus is overcoming Xiaomi and Huawei in both countries. Not so surprising to see Huawei losing ground after the ban, their smartphones are becoming less appealing for certain European customers.
