Multiple sources have released information on the three flagship Samsung tablets, which will be part of the Galaxy Tab S8 family. The devices are reportedly being developed as part of a project codenamed Basquait.
The Basquait 1 will hit the commercial market as the Galaxy Tab S8. This device will receive an 11-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a fast latest-generation processor, 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128/256 GB. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 8000 mAh with support for 45-watt charging.
A step higher will be the version of Basquait 2 – Galaxy Tab S8 +. It will have a 12.4-inch OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the same processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB storage. It is said about the presence of a 10,090 mAh battery with a 45-watt recharge.
The family will be headed by the Basquait 3 tablet, or the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. They have a 14.6-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 8/12 GB of RAM and a 12,000 mAh battery with a 45-watt charge.
All new devices will receive an 8-megapixel front camera and dual rear cameras in a configuration of 13 + 5 mega-pixels. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra model will also have dual front camera (8 + 5 million pixels).
The devices will be able to operate on 5G cellular networks. They are using the Android operating system with OneUI. The price will be $ 740, $ 1120 and $ 1320 respectively.
Samsung introduced tablets Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite – sales will begin in Russia on June 10
Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablets. The first one appeared on the company’s German website a few days ago, but Samsung then spoke about the second one for the first time, although most of the information about the device has long been disclosed by leaks.
Galaxy Tab S7 FE received a Snapdragon 750G processor and a 12.4-inch IPS-matrix. A branded S-Pen stylus will be available with the device. We already know that the European price for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE will be 650 euros.
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a much more affordable device. The tablet is based on the MediaTek Helio P22T chipset, which works in conjunction with 3 or 4 GB of RAM. The storage capacity can be 32 or 64 GB. The screen of the device is an 8.7-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1340 × 800 pixels. The main camera of the tablet has a resolution of 8 megapixels. The device boasts powerful stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The battery capacity is 5100 mAh. Charging power – 15 W.
Both tablets will run Android 11. Buyers of either device will receive free unlimited access to Samsung TV Plus and a free trial of YouTube Premium. Sales of new tablets will start on June 10.
