Vivo S10 is coming soon with a 108MP camera and a Dimensity 1100 SoC


Internet sources have published images and data on the technical characteristics of the Vivo S10 smartphone, the official presentation of which may take place in the third quarter.

It is known that the device will receive a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor. The chip contains eight computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.6 GHz, a Mali-G77 MC9 graphics accelerator and a 5G modem.

Buyers will be able to choose between versions with 8 and 12 GB of RAM. The equipment will include a fast UFS 3.1 flash drive. Operating system – OriginOS UI based on Android 11.

There is a triple camera with a 108-megapixel main sensor. The support of NFC technology was mentioned, which will allow making payments in a contactless way.

Finally, we have the support of 44W fast charging technology. It will replenish the energy reserve from 0% to 38% in about 15 minutes.

Vivo ranks second in terms of growth in the global 5G smartphone market

In the first quarter of 2021, according to analytical company Strategy Analytics, the Chinese manufacturer Vivo came in second in terms of growth in 5G smartphone shipments in the world. Compared to the previous quarter, the company’s global smartphone shipments increased 62% to 19.4 million units.

The main markets for Vivo 5G smartphones are China and Europe. At the end of the quarter, Vivo is in third place in the supply of 5G smartphones in the global market.
