On July 15, Vy Vo Xuan posted a video of Oppo Reno 6 Z 5G smartphone’s unboxing to his YouTube channel, revealing key details. As expected, the unboxing video has divulged a myriad of key details about the upcoming device. The Reno 6 Z is slated to launch in Thailand on July 21. Like most upcoming devices, Oppo’s new phone has been subject to all sorts of leaks and speculations.
The rumor mill has been churning out speculations surrounding the Reno 6 Z’s expected price, as well as specifications. Oppo created more hype around the upcoming phone by releasing teaser pages in some countries including Vietnam and the Philippines with a slew of details. Moreover, it has been spotted on multiple Vietnam online retail websites ahead of launch.

In addition to other key details, the video reveals the upcoming phone’s price. You’d need to shell out $410 to get your hands on the Reno 6 Z, which comes in Silver and Black color options. Furthermore, the phone ships in a Blue-tinted box packaging, which comprises a pair of earbuds, a USB Type-C cable, and a 30W charging brick. The phone features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an appealing punch-hole and Full-HD+ resolution.
Aside from that, the display serves as an in-display fingerprint scanner for additional security. In the optics department, the phone houses a triple camera module at the back. It has a 64MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, along a 2MP macro sensor. Furthermore, the phone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset under the hood.

Price & Availability
Regrettably, details about the phone’s availability are still scarce. Earlier this month, a tweet from renowned leaker Chun shed some light on the phone’s pricing in Vietnam. According to Chun, the Reno 6 Z will retail for VND 9,490,000 (about $412) in the country. Moreover, the tipster suggested that the phone will go up for pre-orders on July 14. Customers who place their pre-orders will be eligible to receive a free Bluetooth speaker.
Another leak came from Evan Blass (aka evleaks) on July 13. Blass shared a few leaked renders, giving us a glimpse of the phone from all angles. The renders were quite similar to what Oppo had teased earlier.
