Realme GT will reach India in three variants – Master Explorer Edition included


Instead of bringing the usual Realme X-series flagships, the Chinese firm decided to reinvent its flagship lineup this year through the Realme GT series. The brand started with one of the cheapest Snapdragon 888-powered smartphones, the Realme GT. The first smartphone was revealed at the beginning of March in China, by the end of March, the company introduced the Realme GT Neo. Several months passed, and the company introduced the Realme GT Master Edition and Master Explorer Edition in China. Now, all three smartphones will head to India.

The Realme GT 5G was launched globally recently but is yet to reach the Indian market. Today, the company’s India CEO Madhav Sheth, shared some new details about the GT series release in the country. According to him, Realme will bring three new smartphones in 2021 under the GT series. He also disclosed some additional details about upcoming lifestyle products launching in the Indian market.

According to the CEO, the brand will release three new GT series smartphones in India. Unfortunately, he did not disclose the timeline or even the name of the smartphones. However, we can give some guesses based on the Chinese portfolio.

Realme GT Master Edition

First of all, Realme will introduce the GT 5G, the first flagship of the series. We can scrap the Realme GT Neo since the device is already available in India as Realme X7 Max 5G. So, the next devices in line are the Realme GT Master Edition and GT Master Explorer Edition. These devices were unveiled recently in China. They feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and a Snapdragon 870 SoC, respectively. The duo of smartphones comes with 65W fast charging and comes with a triple-camera setup.

We don’t think that Realme will bring these mouthful names to India, but we can’t confirm anything at this moment. The fact is that these devices hardly will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. We expect the company to bring a long marketing campaign ahead of this release, so stay tuned.

More lifestyle products

During his interview with Moneycontrol, the executive revealed that the company will bring two variants of the Realme Book. One of the two variants will have an i5 11-th generation Intel chip. The laptop will also come in three colorways. The company already confirmed Blue and Silver colorways. As per rumors, the third color is Red. Lastly, Sheth revealed that the company will launch its robot vacuum cleaner later this year in India.
