Realme has finally launched the Realme Pad, its first Android tablet in India alongside the Realme 8s and Realme 8i, two devices with support for 5G and 4G connectivity.

The Realme Pad brings with it a massive battery, a large screen and dual variants, namely LTE and Wi-Fi. Here’s everything you need to know about Realme’s first tablet priced under the Rs 20,000 price bracket in the country.

The Realme Pad will retail for Rs 13,999 for the base variant with 3GB+32GB of storage and Wi-Fi support. The other variants are 4G+Wi-Fi variants with 3GB+32GB of storage and 4GB+64GB of storage, set to retail for Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,999, respectively.

The Realme Pad will be available in two colours, Real Grey and Real Gold and will be up for grabs starting 16 September, 12 PM IST via Flipkart and realme.com. Buyers with HDFC Bank cards can get up to Rs 2,000 worth of cashback.

The Realme Pad will make use of a 10.4-inch display which is of the LCD variety. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 82.5%, made possible due to slim bezels around the display. It has a WUXGA+ resolution of 2000*1200

Performance-wise, the tab draws power from a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, a budget chip found on the likes of the Redmi 9 Prime. This will be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.

Optics are also decent, with an 8MP ultra-wide front snapper for selfies and video calls and an 8MP rear shooter with support for autofocus capabilities.

The device relies on the rather massive  7100 mAh battery, which, as per Realme offers a standby time of around 65 days and can last 12 hours when viewing content continuously.

The tablet also supports 18W fast charging with USB Type-C charging and includes four speakers, two to the left and two to the right. It weighs 440 grams and is 6.9mm thick. It will boot Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11 at launch.

Realme Cobble

The Chinese giant also launched two new Bluetooth speakers, the first of which is the Realme Cobble Bluetooth Speaker, which offers around 9 hours of playback time courtesy of the 1500 mAh battery.

It makes use of a 5W Dynamic Bass Boost Driver and comes with support for stereo pairing. It retails for Rs 1,799 but will be available for Rs 1,499 at the time of the first sale.

The second product is the Realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker which weighs just 113 grams and runs for six hours. It is IPX5 rated and comes with support for Bluetooth 5.0. It will retail for Rs 1,099 but will be on offer for just  Rs 999 during the first sale on September 15.
