Oppo has just introduced a new product for its F19 series in India. The device carries the moniker Oppo F19s and has mid-range specifications. Interestingly, the new variant joins the already released Oppo F19 Pro and F19 Pro Plus in the country. The new device is Oppo’s way to celebrate the festive season. It arrives with a new Glowing Gold colorway that has a lot to do with the festive season. The device also packs an AMOLED display and a mid-range chipset.
Oppo F19s specifications
Under the hood, the Oppo F19s is not here to revolutionize the market. The device has the aging Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC which is just a common mid-range chipset without much performance for intensive gaming. Anyway, the phone will offer a good level of multitasking thanks to the 6 GB of RAM present in the package. Furthermore, the smartphone ships with 128 GB of Internal Storage.
The Oppo F19s is built around a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. This panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole in the top left of the display. The device has small bezels, but as usual, the chin is quite thick. The handset has focused on the design and build quality of the smartphone, with a 3D curved body with dual-curved rear panel edges. The smartphone measures 7.95 mm in thickness, and according to Oppo, this is the slimmest smartphone to come with a 5,000 mAh battery. However, this isn’t so accurate as of the recently released Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, which also has a 5,000 mAh, is 7.4 mm thick.
Other key features include a 48 MP triple rear camera. Apart from the main sensor, the rectangular camera module comprises 2 MP for macro photography and 2 MP for depth sensing. The punch-hole module is a 16 MP snapper. Other features include Dual-Band Wi-Fi, an under-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual LTE standby. The device has a USB C port that offers 33W charging for the big battery. Last but not least, we have a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
The Oppo F19s come in Glowing Gold and Glowing Black colorways. The device sells for INR 19,990 ($270) prices in the country. It runs with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. The smartphone will sell in the country via Flipkart and Oppo’s E-store. The sales will begin from 4 PM IST today.
