It’s no secret that Samsung is preparing to launch the flagship Galaxy S22 series, which should debut in the first quarter of next year. The lineup will include three new items, where the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the most advanced. Insiders gave their predictions about what characteristics the Ultra version will get.

According to reports, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will receive a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED display. The peak brightness of the panel should be 1800 nits and this will be a record in the industry. For comparison, the Galaxy S21 Ultra has a maximum display brightness of 1500 nits, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max has 1200 nits.

The battery should be 5000mAh and promise 45W fast charging. Unlike Chinese companies, Samsung prefers not to ramp up fast-charging power. There is no need to wait for a charging adapter in the bundle, the company continues to bend the policy of a cut-down bundle for its flagship devices.

The main camera of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will also receive an upgrade, which will receive a 108-megapixel sensor as the main one, but this time it will be a new generation module that will offer a wider aperture and a slightly brighter lens. The image stabilization system will also be better, which should offer a 48% reduction in the effect of shake in comparison with its predecessor.

As a hardware platform, you should count on Snapdragon 898 and Exynos 2200. There is a rumor that one of the largest US cellular operators has already expressed a desire to sell a version of the Galaxy S22 with an Exynos 2200 chip in its stores.

Samsung will introduce another flagship with flexible screen in a few days – the premium Galaxy W22 5G

Samsung has announced the release of a new generation of foldable smartphones Galaxy W. The day after tomorrow, October 13 at 19:00 local time, the new flagship Samsung Galaxy W22 5G, belonging to the Heart of the World series, will be presented at the Chinese Grand Theater in Hangzhou.

Custom smartphones W-series Heart of the World are more “premium” products than flagships of the S and Note series. At the same time, the Heart of the World series was jointly developed by Samsung and China Telecom and bears the logo of the latter – it is expected that the new product will be even more expensive than the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy W20, Samsung’s global W-series has been modified to reflect the company’s progress in the foldable smartphone market. Samsung Galaxy W22 5G externally will differ little from Samsung Z Fold 3. The novelty will receive a 7.6-inch folding display and a frame, which, unlike the black version in the Samsung Z Fold 3, will be silver-gray.

The model will receive the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM. As a rule, W-series smartphones are more expensive than Z-series models (sometimes by almost 50%). If the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is about $ 2328 (12/512 GB), then the Samsung Galaxy W22 5G will probably cost more than $ 3000, although there is no official confirmation of the price rumors yet.

The Samsung Galaxy W21 5G had a 7.3-inch display, Snapdragon 865+ chipset, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, 25W fast wired charging and 11W wireless. The system runs on Android 10 OS with One UI 2.5.
