iQOO has finally disclosed the launch date of its upcoming iQOO Neo5s smartphone. Now, the company has teased the upcoming handset, showcasing its dual-chip technology and other features. The company is pretty confident of its “Dual-Core” technology boasting this smartphone. For those unaware, it basically stands for an architecture that uses the Snapdragon 888 Soc and a dedicated and independent display chip as well. This secondary chipset brings MEMC support, which enables the smartphone to offer an improved gaming performance through a smoother frame rate in FPS titles while displaying more rich colors.
This is a fancy implementation that can make some difference in gaming sessions. Apart from this, the company is also equipping its iQOO Neo 5s with heat dissipation technology. It will help the device keep its thermals in check. One time that the smartphone’s focus is on the gamer public, we can see how this feature is important. Better thermal management will keep the phone performing at its maximum capability without much throttle in the performance. There are many advancements made in this aspect, and each company has its own thermal advancement. It’s good to see the iQOO Neo 5s also getting special treatment. After all, the device is under the “mid-tier” category of iQOO gaming phones. Although having a Snapdragon 888 is something beyond any mid-range smartphone. The upcoming iQOO 9, anyway, should come with even more advanced technologies.
For those unaware, the iQOO Neo5s will make its big debut on December 20. The end of the month is becoming particularly interesting for smartphone enthusiasts. After all, many brands are bringing devices as last-minute launches for 2021. Besides the iQOO sub-brand, the parent company vivo is also bringing some smartphones in the last days of December including the Vivo S12 and S12 Pro. The brand will even introduce the second-generation Vivo Watch. So next week will be quite hectic for Vivo and iQOO enthusiasts.
