This month, the company decided to reveal the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+. In the coming days, the brand will be bringing its Realme 9 5G variant. The vanilla variant will be a cost-effective version. It still brings compelling specs for those who don’t want to pay too much for any of the Pro offerings. Today, a set of specs have been detailed by a new leak.
The Realme 9 5G will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC, a 48 MP main camera setup, and more. Now, a recent report from Pricebaba reveals the RAM, storage amount, and colorways for the upcoming budget smartphone. The handset will be taking on the Redmi Note 11 5G and its siblings in India.
Worth noting that the Realme 9 5G is almost a rebranded Realme 8 5G, except for the upgraded chipset.

As per the previous leaks, the Realme 9 5G will come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate panel. The panel will bring a top-left-aligned punch for the 16 MP selfie snapper.

Under the hood, the Realme 9 5G will pack the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor with up to 128 GB of Internal Storage. We can expect RAM to start with 4 GB and go up to 6 GB. To those unaware, the Dimensity 810 is a 6 nm-based system on a chip that brings two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz plus six ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2 GHz. The phone will draw its powers from a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18 W charging.
In terms of optics, the Realme 9 5G will pack a triple-camera setup. It sports a 48 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. In terms of software, the device will keep what Realme started with the Realme 9 Pro series. This entry offers will bring Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 running on top. The device will also pack a stereo speaker setup, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB Type C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.

As per the recent leaks, the device comes in four colorways: Stargaze White, Supersonic Blue, Supersonic Black, and Meteor Black. The Realme 9 5G probably will reach the market with a price tag between INR 15,999 and INR 18,499. After all, that was the price range for the Realme 8 5G. However, worth noting that the 8 5G had a higher version with 8 GB of RAM. Therefore, the Realme 9 5G top variant with 6 GB / 128 GB might be even cheaper.
