BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) publisher Krafton has picked iQOO as the title sponsor of the BGMI 2022 Esports Tournaments. Krafton is gearing up to host four tournaments later this year, much to the delight of avid gamers in India. Moreover, the competition will offer players an unmissable opportunity to win prizes worth INR 6 crores (about $78,9000). The competition will feature a myriad of other equally great prizes. Furthermore, the competition will give players a chance to make names for themselves internationally.

Krafton Picks iQOO As Its Title Sponsors For Upcoming eSports Tournament

iQOO CEO Nipun Marya announced the partnership recently (via LiveMint). Marya went on to state that the company spares no effort when it comes to delivering superior experiences to its young and tech-savvy consumer base. Furthermore, he acknowledges that iQOO is still riding high on the success of the BGMI series 2021 before announcing its return in the BGMI 2022 tournaments as the title sponsor. Notably, iQOO has been on a launch spree in India this year. For instance, the brand’s Z6 Pro 5G smartphone went on its first sale in the country earlier this week. By collaborating with Krafton again this year, the brand will be delivering a memorable experience for all gamers.

iQOO To Sponsor 4 BGMI Tournaments In 2022

The competition will be split into four BGMI tournaments featuring Pro and semi-Pro categories, and it includes the following:

  1. BMOC (Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge)
  2. The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2022 Season 1
  3. Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2022
  4. Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2022 Season 2

The aforesaid series will include a prize pool of INR 6 crores, which converts roughly to about $78,9000. Likewise, there’s a prize pool of INR 2 crore (about $262755) each for the two-season of BMPS (Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series). According to Krafton, the impending edition of BGIS will bring several upgrades over its predecessor. BGMI wants to bring a platform to players across India for showcasing their skills. Moreover, the BGMI 2022 Esports Tournaments will offer this opportunity not only to professionals but also to beginners alike.
